Starting at the outflow of Canyon Lake Dam, the Guadalupe Kayak Adventure takes paddlers on a journey through one of the most scenic stretches of river in Texas. Participants can choose from three different route options, each offering its own mix of beautiful Hill Country views, crystal-clear water, fun rapids, shallow sections, and river features that make every mile an adventure. Whether you’re looking for a shorter paddle or an all-day river experience, this event is designed to showcase parts of the Guadalupe that many people never get the chance to see.

Along the way, paddlers will find aid stations and refuel points stocked with snacks, hydration, and basic first aid support. Shuttle transportation is included, making logistics simple so you can focus on enjoying the river. Volunteers will be stationed at key portage locations to help kayakers safely navigate around dams and obstacles. After crossing the finish line, the adventure continues with the Lone Star Active atmosphere—good people, great stories, and a day spent exploring one of the best rivers in the Texas Hill Country.
